What is the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program?
The objective of the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program is to develop a more skilled Australian workforce that delivers long term benefits for Australians. This is achieved by encouraging employers to open up genuine opportunities for skills based training of their employees through provision provision by the Commonwealth of financial incentives to employers.
Gain a nationally recognised qualification with the option to upgrade to a Diploma Course.
Courses have been designed:
- To conduct onsite training at your workplace
- To ensure immediate benefits to the workplae are realised as outcomes are achieved
- For tailored workplace assessments within 12 months
- With Recognition of Prior Learning
Am I eligible?
- Candidates must be full time or part time employees (not casual).
- Candidates cannot have another prior qualification on Certificate III or above (if qualification was seven years or more ago from TAFE or apprenticeship/traineeship the employee is eligible).
- Candidates must not have a tertiary qualification.
- Candidates must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Directors and business owners are not eligible for funding.
